WHERE WOMEN’S STORIES CHANGE EVERYTHING
There are many four-letter words. “Fear” is one. And for women, “just” has long been another.
Women use it to shrink, soften, apologise.
“I’m just a mum.”
“I’m just a nurse.”
“I’m just trying my best.”
“Just” becomes the quiet echo of fear — the fear of being too much, not enough, or somehow wrong. But it’s also the place where a new story can begin.
Founded in 2015 by storyteller and community builder Fallon Drewett, The Just Saying Project (JSP) helps women reclaim that small word and turn it into a declaration of power:
“I’m just me — and that is more than enough.”
Over ten years, JSP has grown into a movement grounded in the belief that women’s stories shape culture, strengthen communities, and spark change. Every project, event, and gathering we create is guided by our three core pillars:
These pillars form the heartbeat of JSP. They are our strategic compass, shaping every storytelling season, every workshop, every award, every conversation we invite women into.
In 2025, JSP welcomed Breeanna Poxon as Creative Director and Visual Storyteller — a milestone marking the beginning of our next chapter. With Bree’s vision and artistry amplifying Fallon’s foundations, JSP continues to evolve into a multi-dimensional storytelling project that honours not just women’s stories, but the way those stories build thriving, connected communities.
From photographic exhibitions and storytelling panels to interactive workshops, digital storytelling, and the annual JSP Women’s Awards, we create spaces where women feel seen, heard, celebrated, and deeply connected — to themselves and to each other.
At JSP, storytelling isn’t performance — it’s transformation.
It’s the way women make sense of their lives, rewrite old narratives, break stereotypes, and find joy, strength, and purpose in who they are.
Every woman has a story worth sharing.
Every story has the power to shift something — in us, in our families, in our communities.
So tell me…
Who are you?
Just really?
