Leading Ladies: Quiet Strength, Loud Impact is an intimate afternoon of women’s stories, honest conversation and meaningful connection at JSP Home of Women’s Stories.
Across the afternoon, three women will share personal, story-led talks exploring the moments, challenges, lessons and turning points that have shaped the way they lead, live and make an impact.
Deb Rae will explore the courage it takes to trust yourself, stay true to your values and keep moving forward when the path ahead feels uncertain.
Melanie Kemp, a proud First Nations woman, cultural leader and Founder of Younga Yarns, will share how culture, identity, purpose and community have shaped the way she leads, advocates and creates change.
Nicolette Ffrost, General Manager of The Neighbourhood Hub, will explore how listening deeply, understanding community need and knowing when to step forward can create meaningful, lasting impact.
These aren’t polished presentations or leadership lectures.

Stories about the strength that isn’t always seen. The influence that doesn’t always come with a title. The moments when quiet courage, compassion and consistency have created change.
Following the individual talks, our speakers will come together for The Story Circle — a relaxed, guided conversation exploring the themes that rise from their stories, including identity, courage, leadership, visibility, becoming and the many different ways women make a difference.
Expect good conversation, a few laughs, moments that make you think, and perhaps a story that stays with you long after the afternoon is over.
