2021 the year of YOUR light

To ALL the golden ones,

Firstly, you made it through this year, ( 10 days and counting). It has not been easy; it has been one where we have had to change up and pivot.

We have felt uncomfortable, we have struggled, we have questioned all our thoughts and we have allowed ourselves to feel all the emotions running rampant through our bodies.

Yes 2020 has been a shit show, but it has also been a year that has shown us what is important and that we all can do hard things.

It has been a wonderful reminder that while we have lived through some adversity, we are not alone. For many of us we have been privileged, we live a life of opportunities, safety, health, filled with an abundance of love and support. Through the dark days there has been cracks filled with light.

Many of us, all have battles, struggles and heartaches, ones we don’t share, so it is important we lead with kindness. We don’t always know, what people are going through, but we sure can tap into kindness and sprinkle that energy everywhere.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙞𝙛𝙩 2020 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙪𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨. 𝙄𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙪𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙤𝙨.

Kindness helps us understand what we call hindsight and learn from what life is teaching us. Some days we will embrace the learnings, others we will push them away because it all feels hard.

And it is. Life is hard. But despite the hardships there is so much beauty, that fills our days, months and years. We create this beauty in the world.

Anything that is worthwhile is hard, and like all seasons, the struggles, pain and heartaches have their moments, but like all hardships, the pressures we go through make us stronger, brighter even.

I love the saying, “Life is always rocky when you’re a gem” and it is true, some of the brightest people in the world a gems, because they have struggled, and kept on fighting despite them.

The pressures, struggles and hardships of not just this year, but throughout history have formed many women out there into diamonds and it is these women that shine a light on the paths to keep us moving and growing.

So maybe 2021 can be the year of light. Be the light. Create the light. Turn on the light. Lead the light to others.

Kindness is found in the light we create. It is our power so let’s radiate.
